   4. There are about 124 wolves in 12 packs living in Yellowstone National Park, according to the National Park Service, so I guess I was pretty lucky to see one running down the road when I visited the Montana section of Yellowstone. [more]

   4. The buffalo / bison in Yellowstone National Park are apparently among the last truly wild buffalo in the United States. Just one look at an animal like this in the winter is enough to realize why they were so important to the native Indians - look at that warm, furry hide! [more]
