  1. Believe the gushing superlatives - Tuscany is amazing! It's true!

    Being a tourist there can be hell at times, that's also true. Queues, crowds and rip-off prices are, I suppose, an occupational hazard. But it's all worth it, Florence is like no other city I've seen in terms of beauty, history and all that art. It's everywhere.

    Thanks for the tips. I'll know to buy 'Time Out' if I visit Florence!

    Which was your favourite restaurant there? Also, any great shops?

      Definitely the Trattoria Cibrèo. It's right next door to the famous Cibrèo restaurant, the food comes from the same kitchen but it's about a third of the price! We shared a long outdoor table with some Italians, and the food was amazing!
