Title of photo | Banteay Srei - Siem Reap, Cambodia | |||
| Description |
Banteay Srei (temple of women) is a gorgeous 10th century temple near Angkor Wat dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.
It's built in pink sandstone, so looks amazing in the early morning or late afternoon. Banteay Srei is called the "jewel of Khmer art" because of its incredibly complex carvings, which adorn every single surface of this temple complex. |
