I took this from the Number 11 bus as it travelled down Victoria Street! You can see Westminster Abbey and Big Ben in the background.
Since the coronations in 1066 of both King Harold and William the Conqueror, all British kings and queens (except Edward V and Edward VIII, who did not have coronations) have been crowned in Westminster Abbey. It's really a beautiful place, but you have to queue for ages to get in. |
